As the President and Broker of Record of Private Mortgage Capital Funding Ltd., Stephen Lidsky is solely responsible for all underwriting decisions and administration of PMC Holdings’ loan portfolio.  Relying on a vast network of mortgage and real estate contacts, Stephen is able to move quickly to source, underwrite and close deals.  With more than 30 years of real estate, mortgage and general business experience, he understands the complexities of every transaction and can work to find tailor made custom financing solutions.

 

Prior to founding PMC Funding in 2014, Stephen worked as a Mortgage Broker at Ontario Wealth Management Corporation for 12 years, and began his mortgage career as a Mortgage Specialist with HLC Home Loans Canada, a subsidiary of CIBC Mortgages.  Obviously well before his time, he founded a chain of gourmet hamburger restaurants in Toronto in 1995 which was recognized by Toronto Life magazine as having the best burgers in Toronto (June 1998).

 

Stephen graduated with a Masters in Industrial Relations from the University of Toronto and lives in Toronto with his high school sweetheart, their three wonderful children and very playful dog.
